Please note: Repeat medication ordering is no longer available via our website.
To request your repeat prescriptions, please use one of the following methods:
- The NHS App
- Patient Access
- Submit your paper request slip directly to the practice
Unfortunately, any requests submitted via the website will not be processed.
Ordering repeat prescriptions
The easiest ways to order repeat prescriptions are:
- using the GP online system: Patient Access
- using your NHS account (through the NHS website or in the NHS App)
These accounts show you all your repeat medicine and dosage and you can choose the ones you need.
You can also:
- bring (or post) the paper form to the surgery, Monday to Friday during opening hours
We do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone or email.
Collecting your prescription
Please allow 3 full working days for your prescription to be processed and ready for collection; please note, weekends and bank holidays are excluded.
At busy times this process may take a bit longer, so we advise that you order your medication when you have one week left.
You will need to choose a pharmacy to collect your prescription from. We call this nominating a pharmacy.
You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time:
- on the app or website where you order repeat prescriptions
- at your GP practice
- at any pharmacy that accepts repeat prescriptions
Non-urgent advice: Please note:
Please note, that due to reduced working days at the branch, the turnaround time is different to Manor Farm. Please contact dispensary if you wish for more information.
Medication delivery is available however there is certain criteria; we offer this service to patients who are housebound, elderly or disabled. To discuss further, please contact the dispensary.
Questions about your prescription
If you have questions about your medicine, your local pharmacists can answer these. They can also answer questions on medicines you can buy without a prescription.
The NHS website has information on how your medicine works, how and when to take it, possible side effects and answers to your common questions.
If you would like to speak to someone at the GP surgery about your prescription:
- phone our pharmacist on 01760 721786
- fill in our medication query form
Medication reviews
Patients on regular medication require a review annually with their GP. A notification date should appear on your repeat slip.
Wherever possible, the GP will complete the review without you having to attend the surgery.

About pharmacists
As qualified healthcare professionals, pharmacists can offer advice on minor illnesses such as:
- coughs
- colds
- sore throats
- tummy trouble
- aches and pains
They can also advise on medicine that you can buy without a prescription.
Many pharmacies are open until late and at weekends. You do not need an appointment.
Most pharmacies have a private consultation room where you can discuss issues with pharmacy staff without being overheard.
